Regina is currently a professional writer and editor. She is a former instructor at Prescott College, Prescott, Arizona (1989-1995), and remains a graduate advisor in the fields of theology and psychology.

Regina is the co-author of the Wellness Workbook, and Simply Well, Choices for Healthy Life with John W. Travis, MD, and the author of No Child In My Life; Everywoman's Book of Common Wisdom; The Woman Awake: Feminine Wisdom for Spiritual Life, After Surgery, Illness, or Trauma: 10 Practical Steps to Renewed Energy and Health, and Praying Dangerously: Radical Reliance on God.

An extensive biography of a South Indian saint (Hindu) entitled Only God: A Biography of Yogi Ramsuratkumar was released in 2004. Her most recent writing projects focus around issues of children’s health, including, Breastfeeding: Your Priceless Gift to Your Baby and Yourself and We Like to Move: Exercise is Fun.

Selections of her work have been featured in contemporary anthologies of spiritual writing by women, including Sacred Voices: Essential Women’s Wisdom Through the Ages, by Mary-Ford Grabowsky, and excerpted in Unity Magazine. Regina holds a master’s degree in interpersonal communications from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado.

A former Catholic nun, Regina has studied contemplation and mysticism from several traditions for over thirty-five years. After leaving the convent in the early 1970s, Regina explored many other religious traditions and was particularly inspired by the lives of the great women of Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and Sufism. Her explorations resulted in her books, The Woman Awake and Praying Dangerously. Since 1980, besides writing she has worked in retreat settings and currently conducts several popular workshops in the U.S. and Europe. These include: “Training Attention for Prayer”l “Meetings with Remarkable Women,” about the feminine nature of the Divinity; and “Writing Your Way Home,” about journal-writing as a means of spiritual enrichment and personal transformation.

She lives in Paulden, Arizona with her husband of more than thirty years and two young honorary grandchildren.
